Who We Are
A1 Home Inspectors are one of the leading independent providers of Energy Performance Certificates (EPC), Non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (NDEPC), Floor Plans and Legionella Risk Assessments in the area.
A1 Home Inspectors is a partnership created in 2007 by Gary Langdale Dip DEA & Richard Buckner. Gary is our primary Domestic Energy Assessor, he is also a qualified Legionella Risk Assessor. Richard is a qualified Legionella Risk Assessor and manages the business support element of A1.
Since the creation of A1 Home Inspectors 15 years ago, Gary has provided over 20,000 Energy Performance Certificates to solicitors, estate agents, private clients and housing associations.
Gary and the team of assessors are fully qualified in their respective fields and as a result have the required Public Liability Insurance and Public Indemnity Insurance in place. Gary and Richard's commitment to customer service is of paramount importance.
A1 Home Inspectors are registered with the Information Commissioners Office for the Data Protection Act 1998. This means that we will process your data in accordance with the current Data Protection legislation. A1 Home Inspectors will process your information for the purposes of our business and associated activities and will not disclose your information to external third parties except for law enforcement purposes.
Your information will not be processed for direct marketing purposes. You have the right to ask for a copy of the information that A1 Home Inspectors hold about you in our records, we hold the right to charge you a small fee should you ask.
Our Team
Gary Langdale
Gary was born and raised in Weston-Super-Mare. Gary decided to leave his previous career in accountancy and teaching in 2005 and to return to study to become a Home Inspector. He is licensed under the Elmhurst Energy Services scheme to issue RdSAP EPC's and Legionella Risk Assessments. In his rare downtime, Gary enjoys playing golf, bridge, visiting far-flung and unusual holiday destinations and socialising with friends.

Richard buckner
Richard was born in Reading, Berkshire and moved to Weston-Super-Mare in 2001. Richards career history has always been in the Customer Service sector, he was once part of the customer services team for 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?'. Richard is licensed under the Elmhurst Energy Services scheme to undertake Legionella Risk Assessments. Richard enjoys cooking, taking exotic holidays and socialising.
